Kooser Karnival

Before A finishes up her last month or so of elementary school (am I really saying that??), the school held their first ever carnival last night. We haven't had the nicest spring weather so far this year, but let me tell you about the PERFECT weather last night!! The school just opened in 2009 and is located on the northern edge of the city on a hill and has virtually no wind blocks out there. The wind died down just in time for the carnival, and we could have played outside for hours. It was wonderful. The girls had a blast especially for Little A since there was a bounce house and a giant inflatable slide! I took lots of pictures, but since Big A ran off with her friends, I don't have any action shots of her.

Bounce houses are always a hit with this girl

The lines were soooooooo long for every game. When everyone started leaving, there was little to no wait so we used the remaining tickets on the slide while Dad worked his volunteer shift inside the school. I think she went down it at least 15 times!

And again!

Up again!

She got really brave towards the end and was practically airborne

Below: Proof that there was no wind as the sun was setting on Kooser

Before leaving I got a picture of all three in Dad's classroom

Having fun in the hallway

A beautiful sunset view northwest of the school
