Snowed in!

This picture says it all. (Random car...photo taken at work on Wednesday.) We were slammed with about a foot of snow and huge drifts. School was canceled for 3 days which has not happened before in the 10 years I have lived here. I ended up staying home on Tuesday since work called and "suggested" that I stay home. I think people are afraid of a pregnant lady in her third trimester. Just can never be too careful I guess. People look at you as if a baby is going to come flying out with a mild cough or sneeze. It's pretty funny. I can't wait until next month when I'm waddling around work! The questions just never end! Ha!

Went to the doctor today (after it had been closed for 3 days). Here's a recap of the visit at 33 weeks:

BP 124/76
Random blood sugar - 108
Hemoglobin 12.2 (up from 6 weeks ago - they like to see it above 12 so yay!)
Fundal height - 33-34 cm
Baby heartrate 140-145 and "sounds good"
Only had one day of swelling so far (Thanksgiving weekend - ha)
Next appointment in 1.5 weeks

  1. You totally should stay home! I went to work when I was preggers and dislocated my hip slipping on the ice! You can't be too careful!
