Murder Mystery

Never before has reading a murder mystery novel seemed so real. Our baby got a papercut (second one in her short 11 months of life) after she found my book. Best parenting award?!? However, she didn't seem to care, and we had to play detective after she left a trail of blood through the living room. Blood ended up on her pants, her sister's sweatshirt, the floor and her toys. Concerned, yes, but it's hard to stop delicate baby skin from bleeding profusely. The bandaid worked for a short time until I found myself digging remnants of gauze out of her mouth after she managed to chew it halfway off. Those teeth are sharp.

One would think this was on purpose, but I swear it was not.
