I honestly thought that today I would wake up in labor. The last two days I've felt different. Maybe I'm just paranoid?! At my doctor's appointment on Thursday I found out that my doctor was leaving for vacation the next day through next Wednesday. He told me to "wait" until Wednesday afternoon or later to have this baby. Ha! Today I'm 11 days from my due date which is exactly when I delivered Ava 2 1/2 years ago! I figured since she was 11 days early (probably from the extremely high birth weight) and born on a Sunday that this one would do the same. How weird would that be??
Anyways, I totally prepared myself at work on Friday for not returning for 12 weeks. I would really love to wait until post-return of my doctor to deliver. I wouldn't mind working a few days this week! After all, a complete stranger would again be delivering my baby if I go before then.
My doctor told me to rest this weekend and to make Chris do all the cooking and housework. I have done some of each, but still feel lazy as I've cut back drastically on daily activity. At my Thursday appointment I found out that my cervix had not changed from the visit the week before. He also said that I didn't show symptoms of descending or early labor. Maybe a few more contractions this week than normal though. He also reassured me not to worry about an overly large 10-pound baby. I guess I will trust him!
There is still a little time to make a guess to the baby pool on my expectnet.com site. I'm disppointed that a lot of family still haven't made a guess!!!!
Man, Angel could deliver at any time as well! How ironic is that!? Hope it is soon though so you can be a little more comfortable!
